Question:
How do I register for a distance learning course in IPT’s Knowledge Center?
Answer: To access your distance learning course, enter the web address,http://www.ipt.org, login with your member ID and Password, Click on your name in the upper right hand corner of the page then on the My Participation Tab click “IPT Knowledge Center”. Once you are in the Knowledge Center, click “Catalog” and find the course you wish to take. Click on the link under the course name to “View Course and Purchase”.

Question: I registered for a distance learning course. How do I take it?
Answer: After logging into the IPT Website, Click on your name then, the My Participation Tab and the link to the IPT Knowledge Center. The course should be in your “My Courses” module on the front page as well as the “My Courses” Page. Click “Launch” to start the course.

Question: How do I log out of IPT’s Knowledge Center?
Answer: In the Knowledge Center, click “Close” at the top right hand part of the page.

Question: How can I check to see which distance learning courses I have mastered/completed and/or obtain a certificate?
Answer: Login to IPT’s Knowledge Center and go to “My Courses” and click the tab that say “Grades”. You can also print a transcript of the courses you have taken.

Question: Who can access IPT’s Knowledge Center?
Answer: IPT’s Knowledge Center can be accessed by people who personally hold membership in IPT and people who are eligible for membership. You must have a login and password for the IPT website to access the Knowledge Center. Question: Will my completions show on my transcript as soon as the course is completed?
Answer: Yes for recorded courses unless the course requires manual grading. Webinars may not show up until 2 weeks after the program.

Question: What is the best way to find a course I want to take?
Answer: The Catalog Tab lists all courses available plus there is a list of subjects to the left that might help you determine the best course.
